Kintamayama Intai Press conferenzen

Beitrag von Kintamayama »

Kintamayama has announced his intai from Deutches Sumo Tipspiel today.
Interview:

Q: Was ist passieren, Kintamayama-zeki?
A: Sorry, I will answer only in English!
Q: Why have you decided to retire now?
A: I have not been able to do my own kind of sumo lately, and after dropping to Juryo, have not been able to return to Makuuchi. This basho, my sumo was disgraceful and I feel I have let down my fan.
Q: What is your fondest memory of your long career?
A: Well, I was one of the first foreigners to join Tipspiel and did very well at the beginning. My bad jokes were accepted and forgiven by other players who showed great restraint and understanding. My fondest memory was when I was allowed to pick the bouts, and later accused by players that I chose easy bouts so I could win.. Those were the days..
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: I have acquired the Goldtestikel kabu and intend to help spread the word about this great game.
Q: Than you very much!
A: What thank you??!! Take off your clothes!!

Alas - this is a sad day for our Tippspiel community. Not only goes one of the eldest Tippspiel "statesmen", but also my favourite german teacher and inventor of useful german phrases (useful in terms of having fun telling people what they really meant in the first place, you know). Have loads of fun, Kint, take a cigar, and thanks for all!
